Abortion: What do you have to say about it? Do you think it's wrong? Ok? Right?
Well it depends how she got pregnant, and it's actually the mother's decision. In both ways it's wrong and right. Since it is like murdering a baby. It's also Ok to abort because if you can't take care of that baby, won't that baby be suffering? I mean it's better to abort it then let is suffer. Really, it's the mother's decision.

darn. Either way, it's still murder. If the mother can't take care of the baby, why not just send him/her to foster parents? People might disagree with that, saying that when the child grows up, they will have emotional issues, but it's gotta be better than actually KILLING them...right? I mean, I wouldn't want to be aborted if I were a baby, not that I'd have any idea to what was going on...

Well, really...like what my friend Christine said..Psh. (LoL Cindy) The baby isn't exactly fully developed into a baby. So it isn't exactly called murder. Even though if you think of it another way it is.
And it's not the emotional issues. I just depends on how parents act on it. I mean some parents are so stupid because they don't know what to do with the baby, they stuff it in a garbage can. Well that's reality. I would rather abort it than do that.
Anyways, on to my answer on abortion. I don't think it's wrong nor right. I mean it's your own choice you know? It's not her fault that she doesn't want the baby. I mean she just doesn't want it you know? I'm very neutral on this topic for some reason or another.

Oh my this abortion topic is EVERYWHERE!! I've had to discuss this so many times... hey why not once more ^^;;
Well I usually believe that if you got yourself into it, you knew what you were doing, and you have to go through with it. BUT there is one exception.
rape. My spanish class was discussing it. (Don't ask, we talk about everything but spanish -- And there was this nine year old girl that was raped and became pregnant! Usually, i think that if the mother doesn't want the baby, then just put it into an adoption agency or let a relative or someone else take care of it but a nine yr old girl shouldn't have to go through the painful process...
Killing a life is always wrong... but there are certain circumstances...
But in church, my sensei raised a very good point, stating that even if rape is the cause...
even if it hasn't reached what do u call it? the first 1/3 of the process? uhh the 3 month thingie, it still is a life. She said that as soon as the sperm and egg come together, there is a life! They didn't choose to be created by... an accident, rape, or whatever the case is... the fact still is that it is a human being, a living human being... You might not have asked to get pregnant, they didn't have a choice on how they were born. Is it really fair that we extinguish a life? They never asked for it.

well. i think this is more of a girls topic here. i dunno what it would feel like going through abortion. and i dont intend to. however, i still think it is morally wrong to abort a baby jes because the mother was too lazy to take care of the child. even if the actions of the parents it technically NOT murder, it is still a bad way to solve a problem of being lazy.

Yes so true but there are situations where the mother is oh... 8-9 years old?! I think something like that happened just recently and ppl are protesting against the little girl because she had an abortion. But, she didn't even know what a child really was... I think there was even a quote saying something about how she didn't want to "share" her child, thinking of it as a kind of toy. But then my earlier post ... I'm really confused about this topic -_- Both ways have good arguments really |

I've heard of something like that happening. Where a really young girl gets pregnant or something, and they don't know what do about it. Of course, her parents are like Zoned out off the face of the earth. And her daughter is just "there" not knowing what to do. I think at that age, is a good excuse to use abortion.
I mean I know they can take the baby out her her and put it in a tube or something like that, but I still think it's a good excuse. I mean you know how heavy a load it could be for a young girl.. 8-9 years old to carry a problem this huge? It's sad, painful, hard...and just plain dangerous to deal with.

I think Abortion is wrong. The only exceptin is if like if the mother is going to die because of the baby then it is right. but I mean besides that it is wrong. If the mother dosn't want the baby then there is adoption. and if she thinks that is wrong or w/e Then keep it. its not that hard. then if she is scared of parents or other ppl finding out mabey she should have though about that when she was having sex. I mean, if you steal somthing and get caught you don't get to just go do somthing and get off. why should this be any different. Then there is the topic that it is murder. even in early stages. It is just like killing another person or animal. So over all my oppinon is abortion is wrong.TEXT

well, I think its totally up to the mother, its her body let her do what she wants with it. and on top of that its her kid, and as long as the father agrees then i say its up to them.  |
