Has anyone seen "The Ring" before? God it gave me nightmares. It was really creepy.

Haha...I saw something called "Ringu", the Japanese equivalent to "The Ring". It was scary, but thank God it didn't give me any nightmares.

I heard the Japanese version of the ring was much more scarier than the American Version. Well I haven't exactly seen it yet...

Ah! The scariest part was the video and when Sadako came out of the well...the tv didn't become static like it did before, it just kept on rolling...I was freaked out when she came out of the screen and started stumbling towards the man. The phone rang, and it was the wife. He was like, "Asakawa...ASAKAWA!! I got it now!" and then he dropped the phone, trying to run for the door but he tripped and fell over. lol.

In the American version..it's same thing..except he didn't listen to the phone or go to the door..he just tripped and fell to the floor. The girl killed him, and then when the woman (I forgot all their names accept the girl from the video, Samara.) came to him, he was sitting in the chair..and when she turned it around..and ......AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Her boyfriend died a very terrible death..ugh..that picture was gorey and sick..LOL.
And oh yea..they weren't wife and husband in this version.
I finally found out what the entire movie meant damnit..well I figured it out awhile ago..but YES! LoL..I was so troubled by not understanding it. Since I watched it with Jonathan and he explained about the copies of video tapes the lady made..I understood it. Haha, so collecting clues do work. ;-)

if u ask me, i thought the american version of Ringu had a incredibally sh**** ending. it was jes when the kid slipped the tape in to record and it just went blank. that is like the worst place to stop a movie. other than that, it had a good plot.

Yea I know, I wasn't a big fan of the ending either. It was kind of stupid. But other than that..it was a freaky and good movie.

I saw Ringu and The Ring. Both were kind of interesting, but Ringu was by far better than The Ring.
Ringu was probably scarier. Ringu and The Ring had their similarities and differences. They both had that whole cabin thing and the video. Though, in Ringu, Sadako's mom was very special and did not breed horses like Samara's mom in The Ring. The video in Ringu and The Ring were totally different. Ringu had the kanji characters floating around the screen and other things unique to it. The Ring had stuff like crawling thumbs, horses jumping off cliffs, and other gruesome things.

ya know..I think they purposely made her breed horses to make it.."different" from the original ringu, you know? ^^;;

yes, the ring was quitefully scary but the ring 2 looks to be even better/  i really cnt wait for it to come out{friday guys, go see it, this friday} |
