Water along the eastern shore along the Midren river clouds rolling across the sky east and west, heavy winds pouring rain from the south.

"Listen boy, you will never surpass me if you cannot do this simple tech."

"Ryrin, you may be a lower class citizen but you have what it takes to be a Paliden."

Ryrin sighed, breathing heavily he lifted the short sword in his hand as he charged head first towards the older man.

"Tisk, tisk Ryrin."

Ryrin stopped short as his hands stood empty looking through the air as the older man caught his weapon.

"damn it." Ryrin cussed as he stood straight.

"How long have we been at this?" The older man spoke again looking at Ryrin as he walked towards Ryrin.

"Not long enough." Ryrin, mused spinning on his heel throwing a kick towards the older man.

"Hmm"

The older man smiled as he backed away tossing ther blade back to him.

"Lets go."

"Master Yrillin?" Ryrin spoke quickly.

"Yes Ryrin?"

"How long do I need to train to be come a Paliden?" He asked suddently.

I know that quite a bit of time has passed since this thread was made, but I'm just now getting back to the site.

I like where you are going with this story, there's not much more that can be said with piece of writing you have here. I hope to see more of it.
