most historians would agree that the most tensions and war rivalries are usually the result of different races and religions and their differences. Many examples of this occur today which therefore leads me to agree with the historians. such examples include
JEWS VS. MUSLIMS
Isreal was a land that used to be muslim holy grounds. however the land was set aside as a seperate land for the Jews in the Middle East. However, muslims and Jews alike worship the holy grounds or jureusalem(i think i spelt it wrong) Muslim Freedom fighters(in the Muslim perspective) battle with violence to regain their land back from the Jews. HOwever the Jews regard their violence as acts of terrorism and fight back by destroying the property of muslim land owners who were thought to be with the freedom fighters. the 2 religions battle hard till this day to gain the territory of isreal
CATHOLICS VS. PROTESTANTS
the 2 religions both live and share neighborhoods on the Irish colony. however, there are much seperation between the 2. and there are also gangfights of the catholics and the protestants. anyone who would trudge out of their territory would basically be beaten or killed there are also protestant adn catholic military bases established to "maintain the peace" in their eyes. however bloodshed still remains as the cause of the tensions between the 2 religions
HINDUS VS. MUSLIMS
both Religions use to live on the continent of india during the time of british colonial rule. They were working hard together to overthrow the British. in 1947, they had completed that task. However, a new war erupted. the Muslims were afraid of the hindu majority in India. They went on a "Hindu killing" rampage because ghandi refused to make the seperate country of pakistan. After seeing his people suffer, ghandi decided to make the 2 warring nations, india and pakistan. the Hindus were in India and the muslims were in pakistan and to this day, the 2 are still fighting over the atlantic charter that gave india more land then pakistan.
NORTH KOREANS VS. SOUTH KOREANS
Many wars between north and south korea erupted in the past. Each tried to overthrow the other's government and take over their land. however, the fighting, killing, and bloodshed had no result whatsoever. besides massive casualties, both north and south korea never gained much territory after the wars. However, due to North korea's hatred towards the south, their weapons of mass destruction is targeting south korea to this day. and could probably wipe out most of south korea.
BLACKS VS. WHITES
ahh a classic one. in Africa, the majority of people are black. however most of them are governed by white africans. Many Black Africans believed this to be wrong because they were the majority. freedom fighting came in the 40's when Nelson Mandela, a leader for the blacks in Africa emerged as one of the best freedom fighter in all of time. Mandela was arrested many times, however his followers always continued the battle against the whites and to this day on, tensions between blacks and whites in Africa are still growing.
those are some examples why i agree with the historians. what do you think? is this a fact? or opinion? please share :-)
